Get Skintight, produced by Steve and Jeff McDonald of Redd Kross, finds the Palo Alto, California, foursome's formerly garage sound pumped up to arena levels, with stronger songs, blistering guitar solos and split-kickin' metal antics. Lyrically, they still have a Spice Pop firmly planted between their tongue and cheek. Frontwoman Donna A. sings all toughlike about boys who are so dull that the Donnas have to spell it out ("B-O-R-I-N-G") and about a guy who's so lame that "his mom writes his name on his underwear" (ouch!). They also cover Motley Crue's "Too Fast for Love," but the Donnas' own songs are catchier, saucier and just better. Really". - Rolling Stone
